Oregano Essential Oil, powerful antimicrobial, antibiotic, antiviral herb (*)
The substances THYMOL and CARVACROL show strong antimicrobial properties and are effective in fighting infections. It has recently also been shown to have a strong antiviral effect. In addition, it is a valuable source of vitamin K and minerals, such as iron and magnesium.
How to use: by mouth, in very small amounts (1 drop) in a spoonful of oil, for antimicrobial action in case of a cold or viral infection.
Topically: it can be applied to the skin, diluted in a base oil, to relieve insect bites.
The essential oil contains the soul of the herb.
Topical: dilute in a base oil before applying to relieve pain, inflammation and skin problems. Never use neat.
