Sage essential oil from Lesvos.
This essential oil is obtained by distilling the leaves and flowers of the sage plant. Aromatherapists recommend it for cases of anxiety and painful menstruation. It provides relief from colds, night sweats, headaches, and dysmenorrhea (add 2–3 drops to a carrier oil and massage gently). Additionally, 2–3 drops can be added to 100 ml of water to treat mouth sores or irritation. It must not be ingested.
The essential oil contains the soul of the herb.
Diffuser: 3–5 drops per 100 ml water, 30–60 min. Massage: dilute to 1% (2 drops per 10 ml carrier oil). External use only; never neat. Max 2 weeks, then a 2-week break.
